Frankie Bacon (previously known as Tommie Torres) is one of those players, but they're also an employee of the Other Worlds Tourist Bureau, the company who made the game, and while that's given them a little better of an idea of what's going on than the protagonists, the fact that they signed an NDA and can't talk about any of it isn't helping. This is absolutely the most notable thing about them. Technically they're an intersex tiger person in a labcoat--thanks Phantas!--but that's not going to be visible unless they're bathing. But yeah: giant tiger person, wears a lab coat over modern shirts and slacks with no shoes in their fantasy game, and has pockets full of chemical reagents. 15 Second Summary Tomas "Tommie" Torres was born to a single mother in the year 2016 and unfortunately lost her during the COVID pandemic at the age of four. Since Tommie's mom didn't have any family around to take her child, Tommie got adopted by one of her coworkers and his partner. Tommie's adopted dads gave them a fairly happy childhood despite everything and helped them through figuring out they were nonbinary when they were in middle school. (They elected to keep their legal name, since they didn't want to lose that connection to their mom, but generally go by the slightly more gender neutral nickname.) Meanwhile, Tommie's aunt by adoption was busy doing things like inventing a new kind of sentient AI and starting a gaming company called the Other Worlds Tourist Bureau, which Tommie ended up interning at as their regular summer job. They double majored in zoology and computer programming in college and ended up on the fauna/monster design team for OWTB's new VRMMO The Wonders of Mundus. (Thanks nepotism hire!) They also played WOM recreationally and this became a Problem when Shit Went Down and everyone on the Chimera server got isekai'd into the game. Abilities & Permissions Abilities Frankie's class for Wonders of Mundus is currently Alchemist, for which the description goes: Alchemists can prime and bottle spellbombs that no one else can, as well as having access to better healing and buffing potions. Any idiot can mix a potion or smoke bomb, but these guys get access to elixers and bottled lightning at high levels and can make stuff that mostly consists of their own Breath (though proper ingredients really help.) They can also enchant magic bullets for guns or slings. They're an offensive support; they lay down fields that allies want to stay in and enemies want to get out of. (Fields of volatile alchemical chemicals and vapours.) When they get their secondary class they're going Shaman, but that shouldn't matter until I canon update them. Their more mundane skills include computer programming, nanobiology, baking, and bowling. Permissions Here! Sensing Most of the heightened senses were a Vulpecian perk rather than an Ubastim, but they do have standard Darkvision? They're basically flavored tabaxi. Memory Registry
